Job Description:

JPI is hiring a member of the testing team for a DHS enterprise IT system using Agile development methodologies. This position will assist in the testing of SharePoint-based systems for the HSIN development support contract. US Citizen, ability to obtain Secret Clearance is required.


  • Conduct testing for a DHS SharePoint-based system(s)
  • Work closely with the Test Manager to produce manual and automated scripts that are consistent with the existing test plan
  • Develop and maintain test scripts
  • Plan, execute, and track functional testing to support Agile development and continuous integration​​
  • Perform debugging of code, error log reporting, and test runs
  • Perform functional and acceptance testing of SharePoint-based system(s)
  • Participate in requirements reviews, requirement traceability, design reviews, and technical discussions
  • Maintain test scripts using Agile tools, such as Jira, Confluence and Zypher
  • Provide evening and weekend test support as needed


  • One (1) year of experience working with software development or IT systems with a focus in quality assurance and/or quality control;
  • Experience developing technical documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test results;
  • Experience working with MS SharePoint;
  • Experience with Agile development (such as JIRA) or other Agile activity management applications;
  • ​Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices;
  • Proven ability to work with remote teams;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Excellent oral and written communication as well as time management skills;
  • ​​US Citizen, ability to obtain Secret Clearance (Candidates with existing Secret or Top Secret, have recently worked with the intelligence community, or have recently held a DHS HQ EOD is a plus)
