Job Description:

The Business Analyst / Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Manager in all phases of the project life cycle and successful delivery of global technology projects within the Information Technology Department. The position will support a global program focused in areas of networking, audio-video, and end user equipment. The position will need to support the program’s multiple projects and fixed schedules as needed by the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Management Team within the IT department as well as other business functions, moving towards a global and harmonized enterprise support and solution within the firm.
  • Assist in supporting and following up with resources in a matrixed environment to ensure completion of tasks within scheduled time.
  • Support management of multiple, ongoing, and interrelated projects to achieve business goals. Coordinate and prioritize resources across business and technology areas. Organize and manage scope, timeline from project inception to completion.
  • Responsible for providing project management services and expertise within the Information Technology Project Management team. Support project teams in implementing the solutions through the entire life cycle.
  • Responsible for maintaining frequent and direct communication with stakeholders, and support scope and estimates, monitoring and controlling projects, and resolving impediments effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with other IT resources, business stakeholders, and Project Managers across the support functions to ensure effective planning.
  • Act as the project contact as needed by the Project Manager for the many internal and external customers within Hogan Lovells.
  • Support delivery for assigned projects on time and on budget.
  • Provide administrative support including meeting minutes, PowerPoint brief development, scheduling meetings, working sessions, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or IT related field, or equivalent experience
  • Three plus years working in a project management focused environment
  • Experience with IT projects that are focused toward IT infrastructure and service delivery such as networking, audio-video, or end user equipment is helpful, but not required.
  • Experience using MS Project or similar project management tools to track project tasks.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision to follow up with technical resources and vendors on outstanding items.
  • Raise issues and challenges to the Project Manager for resolution.
  • Other tasks as needed by the Project Management Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or IT related field, or equivalent experience
