Prospectus

The Prospectus is a formal document sent to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Congress to receive funding authorization for GSA building projects. It includes project scope information, budget, and schedule, in addition to a housing plan. If approved, this results in authorization letters from both the House and Senate that approve the project.

The Prospectus Builder Tools allows PBS users to develop, publish, and submit properly formatted documents all electronically.

JPI’s PIP is an integral, time-saving management tool used by GSA to produce accurate, up-to-date output in MS Word format for the prospectus process. The Prospectus Builder Tool allows users to develop multiple drafts, publish the final version and submit a properly formatted document to central office for processing without generating a single piece of paper.
